Deploy a Package Using Microsoft Configuration Manager
Cloudhouse Alchemy Compatibility Packages can be deployed using Microsoft Configuration Manager/SCCM.
Process to Deploy Alchemy Compatibility Packages using Configuration Manager
- In the Configuration Manager console, click Software Library.
- Expand Application Management, then click Packages.
- In the Home tab, in the Create group, click Create Package.

On the Package page of the Create Package and Program Wizard, specify the following information:
Field Description Name Specify a name for the package. Description Optionally specify a description for this package. This package contains source files Checked. Source folder Should point to the Compatibility Package on a UNC share. -
On the Program Type page of the Create Package and Program Wizard, select Standard Program and specify the following information based upon the deployment type (see Deploying an Alchemy Compatibility Package for further details).

Name: Specify a name for the package Command Line: Cloudhouse.Container.Deployment.Exe /acceptEULA /deploydir C:\ProgramData Program Can Run: Whether or not a user is logged on Run Mode: Run with Administrative rights Drive Mode: Either UNC or drive letterProgram Type Configuration for User Deployments:
Name: Specify a name for the package Command Line: Cloudhouse.Container.Deployment.Exe /acceptEULA /deploydir C:\ProgramData Program Can Run: Only when the user is logged on Run Mode: Run with with User's rightsWarning: The UNC path specified for the /usagelocation switch must already exist.
Requirements:
Platform Requirements: Select This program can only run on specified platforms Checkboxes: From the list, only select supported operating systems for Cloudhouse Compatibility Packages. -
Once the Package has been created, deploy it to the appropriate Collections.
